Flanged 44 U-bolt size?

    I drilled out my spring plates when I did my 3" Black Diamond lift. I had to bend the u-bolts in as well using my vise. Looks like 2 3/4" is the u-bolt bend they ship with. Some lift companies show 52-71 while some say 52-68 and 69-71 which is probably a u-bolt issue?

    Jeeps with 30 spline flanged axles have 2 3/4" tubes. Tapered axle 44's and 41's have 2 1/2" tubes as stated. Some times on the spring plates you can elongate the holes to compensate for the changes, sometimes there isn't enough room. There are also some Jeep pu Dana 60's with 2 3/4" tubes. I believe they are the 60-2 which is normally cast into the pumpkin and are normally the flanged axle version of the 60. Nickmil
