Disc brakes pro's and con's

Foothill Offroad is just down the road from me, but, you can do the conversion yourself for about half of what they charge for those parts. As written in the tech section.

 

I'm not sure about the Foothills kit but one thing to keep in mind is that sometimes the replacement rotors for kits are only available through the original company at a premium. Often it's best to go with the numbers. As I've been reminded recently, companies go out of business or stop producing parts of their product lines.

Something to consider.

 

R&P sells a kit for a 25/27 for $500 plus shipping. That's using off the shelf rotors that are readily available. They can be reached at 503-557-8911. Seems a little cheaper than the $699 Foothill wants. Nickmil
