A week of freedom

Starting tomorrow the family is heading out of town for a week and Dad will be left alone with the Jeep, I almost don't know what to do with myself I had always been planning on starting bodywork and painting it while they were gone so I would not have to worry about fuming up the house, with a prego wife and toddler around. Also I was thinking about getting the remainder of small parts to get it road worthy or moving, a few brake lines and radiator hoses. But this morning I was thinking on my way to work(very dangerous) about tackling an adventureous project, the hardtop.

I have never really had any intention of using the ugly boxy thing because it is just that. But I had an idea about maybe hacking it up and streamlining it alittle. I hate the thought of wasting time on a project that my or may not work out, but it might be pretty cool in the end. Has anyone ever done this? Bob
