Windshield tie down

So,
I have the tie down and bumpers on my windshield, but nothing to strap it down with. Is there a certain strap that should be used, or what do you guys use???

IIRC there's a footman loop on the underside of the top windshield rail where the strap should be. It is the right length to fit around the loop on the hood and has a turnie-thingie lock on the strap that holds it.

Pretty sure you can buy a repop, at least from Beechwood if not from the usual Jeep suppliers.

 

One of my local hardware stores sells black nylon woven strapping and nylon hardware for making up straps that I have used for holding a lot of different things. Might be able to find the same thing in Ottumwa..
