    hey all-

when i bought my CJ, there was some kind of crazy 'cage' in it... more like a pieced together wrangler rollbar... and didnt like it...

i found another bar to put in it, but it doesnt look right... its too vertical...

can someone direct me to where i might find another 'original' rollbar or provide a place where i can see waht the original lloked like?

i am loooking for the right rake of it... it looks to me (in some pix) like the original laid back at the same angle as the windshield...

mine bolts to the rear wheel-wells... will provide pix if it helps..

    THANKS!!

    TB

The rake is exactly parallel to the windshield. You probably got a '72-'75 bar.

That looks like a Smittybilt bar, not Jeep equipment.

J&W is a long way to go for a fairly common item. I'd suggest you advertise in the classifieds here, and on other Jeep boards. The southeast has some Jeep-only junkyards too, but I'm not familiar with them.

Will a roll bar from a 76 work on a 73? If so, I'll work something out with you.
