Rare find?

    Here's what I've seen. Green '76, CJ7 style doors, fixed hard top with a large single door in the rear with "Jeep" stamped in it, sliding doors, straigh 6, with auto trans. At first glance I thought it was a mail jeep. All original unmolested, aside from and after market shifter knob. The guy is asking $500. Let me know what you guys think. Pics soon.

    theres an old dj around here for 350. It looks really clean. If it had 4wd I'd own it.

    I used to have a DJ-5. Had a dana 44 posi rear in it. might be a good upgrade for that price!
    I used the front axle to make a Jeep style trailer.
    Its not to hard to install a transfer case and front axle in them, look for 'Project Cheap Jeep' in one of the Petersen's publications.
