Well I got the tranny done and mated the t-case to it and put both of them on the cross member/skid. Well with a full nights sleep, I got up early Saturday, and got to work. Quickly realized that 1) this T-90/m18/crossmember/skid combo is heaaaaavvvvy, and there was nooo way I was gonna git this done, even with my Brother-in-law's help. So I broke down the setup. After stuggling with the tranny by myself I decided to just wait for my BIL to get there. Once he showed up it took us about an hour and we had the t-90/M18 back in the '55. Well the afternoon was young so we decided(or I decided) that I really wanted to hear that "odd fire" rumble. So we began working to get the 231 running. After almost 2 years and a little bit of work, it roared again...yeah. The only thing going into this porject that I was unsure of was the motor. I knew that it did run good before the initial tear down, but I was not too sure what my BIL had done. But as he said it would just spring to life, and sure enough, you hardly have to crank the starter. Next stop Body Work.
