Normal rust spots?

    its on both sides, owner says it body was repainted, could this be a sign of a earlier crash?

    Jeeps are notorious for rust problem, wrecks or not. Painting over problems doesn't eliminate them. Can't see enough of the photo to tell but it looks consistent with rust on an old jeep. Could be an old repair but it doesn't really matter.

    I don't recognize the location on the Jeep from that photo ... maybe it's obvious, but I'm missing it.

    looks like it may be on the rocker panel, idk. If so its a common rust spot.
