Windshied still has the wiper motors
someone rewired it with updated fuse blocks and an alternator with the selinoid inside the firewall
it also has push button start but not sure if its stock
The jeep also has 5 shocks, the fifth ons on top mounts to a bracket on the passenger side behind the valve cover and goes down to the frame behind the leaf spring mount
Any ideas why its there, the cj does have a plow mount
Soooo, now I have 2 CJs
    This may be an addiction
Oh yeah,,, only paid $250.00 for the 68 not sure if it runs needs a radiator
Will the 59 glass fit in the 68?
I will take more pics tomorrow

First step is admitting there is a problem. Looks like a score!

I bought a spare dauntless and all brackets, and it came with the motor mounted shock. It is to dampen vibration, and or slow torque wrap in the mighty V6. My 66 also has a bracket coming off of the pass. side of the front axle with a bump stop to the frame, I suppose to stop axle wrap and keep the front driveshaft out of the starter/bellhousing under torque. (it has been unsuccessful at some point with mine.) I am planning extra spring lift so I don't have to worry any more.

Seen the 5th shock on several 68s - including the one I used to have. I believe it was stock (not 100% sure on that though).

Sound familar. I bought a hard top for $350. When I went to pick it up the guy said I had to take the whole Jeep. So, now I've got a spare v6!

Put a battery in it and tried to start her up
Nothing, then wiggled the wireing harness, its aftermarket with 2 sets of plugs under the hood with 8 blade fuses each, plug that goes into the engine compartment
To much excitement it turned over, its getting gas but wont start, new gas and starting fluid and nothing
    have to get new plugs
I think the culprit is in that harness connection, its 5 or 6 wires
The lights all work , head, tail, gauges, but cant get them to go off
also need a new rubber gas line , its about 5 inches long and goes to something under the engine and has a leak
Cant wait till tomorrow after work to give it another go
What size spark plugs do i need?
    Thanks
