Does anyone make a replacement Hub for the front end of a 1967 Jeepster. Mine still has the originals and I would like to install something a little more user friendly for my wife.

What kind do you have and what are you looking for? I have a few types here.

Warn, Superwinch, Milemarker, etc. all make them. They are the same as the ones for the CJ's and Flatfender's. I'd recommend the Warn as I've had the best experience with them. The others have had too many "issues" that I've owned. JMOP. Nickmil

My 71 Commando has the early Warn lockouts. I purchased a tool, called The Hubber, from 4 Wheel Drive Hardware, that makes them easy for my wife to use. Of course, she's stronger than I am.

The "Hubber" is a great tool. Hollow too so you can store small items in them by snapping off the lid. It's basically a big knob that fits in the dial. Only fits Warn Premium hubs. R&P manufactures them and sells them to 4 Wheel Drive Hardware. Used to be able to get different colors from them directly but not sure if you still can. 4 WD Hardware only sells red. Nickmil

Here's a pic of the "Hubber" he's talking about. One other thing is you might take apart your existing hubs and clean and lube them. They may just need servicing.

R&P can be reached at 503-557-8911.
