Well I'm finally making progress on my never ending front brake job:rofl: , and I figured before I button them up I'd ask if they look right? They're 10"ers.

    Thanks,

looks good to me ,do you have the short shoe on the front or the rear, should be on the front, and if they look the same you may want to mesuare the other side and compare notes,if they all measure the same no worries, if one side measures different you have them mix matched, and the short shoe goes to the front on each side, clear as mud aint it,if you are confussed io will try to better to explain

Looks like I doubled the pic:oops: They were both of the passanger side. Here's the drivers side. Think that little peice of brake line from the 4-way block will be OK?

    Thanks,

brake shoes look right to me,hard to tell about the brake line cant see that much detail in the pic, looks like it is different than mine, mine runs across the top of the axle to a junction block then rubber line up to the frame, keep in mind that the axel distance from the frame will change all the time when driving as the springs give over bumps etc

Thanks. I ended up switching the shoes after reading this post:) :http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21667. My junction block is mounted on the frame rail just above the wheel in the last pic, right behind the shock mount. The PO had a short line run on the inside of the frame to the rubber line. No bracket on the frame for the end. I figured I'd just run it on the outside as I boggered-up the end trying to get it off the rubber line. Figured it'd be OK cause it's behind the shock. Now off to re-pack the bearings and get them installed. I'm driving that thing today no matter what. It's been parked in front of my barn for 3 weeks:( .

Thanks again for all the help,
