In keeping w/ the build theme, Pete's new emblems. A team effort, Thad (Old Bill) did the powdercoat black, Karla, my wife, did the detail painting (GM Bright White and a custom orange metallic I tinted to taste), and I clearcoated it (the hardest partR) ). Since I couldn't find any premade oranges I liked, and there will be several accents in that color, I worked w/ the guy at the paint store to get the mix right. Started w/ a white base and using several tints finally came to this. Thank goodness he was a Poke fan and had a general idea of where we were headed. I'm doing some of the detail work this weekend getting it ready to paint. I'm hoping to be semi done w/in a month.:v6:
