ok guys ive got a gm column out of 94 truck. i am installing it in my 73 cj5.

everthing is good except the column sticks down towards the frame rail to far and the shock tower is in the way of the steering shaft. hope this makes sense.

i am afraid to push the column into the passenger compartment further because then i think it will feel unproportioned to the pedals and it will also hinder getting in and out of the jeep.

is their anything available as far as custom joints and such. i am currently using what came with the truck. the stock joint at the column doesnt seem to be able to take much angle at all. or maybe i just need to trim the shock mount?

    any help would be appreciated.
