Is this an original JEEP wheel?

Combat rims photos from my stash....

 

I've hit it with a wire wheel to clean some of the grime off. I think there is about 5 colors on it but the nuts and wheel seems to be in every bit as good a shape as the pics Rondog posted. This one is more colorful though. (Side note) Billy, wouldn't it be General Smarty Pants since he is the top brass around here? {General Sparky Pants}

Just so you know they made a special reinforced combat rim for the Converto dump trailer. It was a no shock or leafspring trailer used to dump dirt to make runways and roads.Those rims you can wave in front of a Converto owner until they start shaking and just ask them to sign a check and leave the amount blank. Tell them you will fill it in later!

 

Respect was given, I was just asking if General was more appropriate.

Ever try to get parts for a WWll ammo cart? Grease isn't allowed and you are still required to smile!
