Trying to plan ahead before pulling floor panel. Id like to run a hose vent line to a higher point and am wondering about stock vent cap or button : Is this a press in or screw in cap ? If press in, can the " cap " itself be removed and a rubber line hose clamped to the pressed in tube? Dont really want to remove the top plate and tap the hole at this time. Many thanks for a little info before starting.

Some press in and must be tapped. Some are screw in as noted. I haven't seen any rhyme or reason as to why they did one over the other. I prefer the screw in ones myself. Nickmil
