I want to replace my AMC 20 two piece rear axles with a one piece set. My jeep is mostly a DD, with light to moderate 4 wheeling. I don't feel as though I need Moslers, but are the Crown ones any good? I think they're solid one piece, not welded, and they are induction heat treated. They're a little cheaper, but I don't want to buy them if they're junk. I have a 304 engine with 32's. Will eventually install a 360 and 33's. Thanks.
    Rich.

We have wheeled a set of 4wd 1 piece axles for 2 years now and have been very happy. This is in a cj-7 on 33's soon to be 36's w/ a lockright and have had no problem what so ever.

I run the Superior 1 piece shafts and couldnt be happier, especially with a Detroit E-Z Locker & 4.56 gears turning 33's (35's once new engine is in & running). If you are running a locker, the 1-piece shafts will save lots of headaches, as even street/DD driving with lockers will soon tear up the factory 2 piece shafts. The Crowns are good quality and you should be very happy with them.
