Military Rims

    I have a set of 16" M38a1 rims. I am wondering if I can mount modern radial tires on them. Will I need tubes? or will they seal? Also, any idea how wide the rims are?

    I have a few different types for the M38 and the M38A1 cant be sure which is which as far as width goes..anyhow I measured them for you ..I have a set that are 4 3/4 wide and a set that is 5 1/2 wide which I am pretty sure are for the M38a1

    no tubes necessary did this on a 1946 jeep truck with the rivited wheels and no problems as far as width cant help you there yet
