thats sweat,i did the same thing only my bracket is a little diferent,i took a piece of angle and bolted it where the generator bracket bolted to the block then welded flatbar on top to extend over top the engine mount so i could get the belt lined up and welded alt mounting plate to it was able to use stock adjustment arm in orignal postion made it out of scrap my buddy tried to talk me out of doing it now he wants me to make him one will try to post some pictures maybe tomorrow
