Can't seem to find rocker protection for a CJ-6. I remember Christian Hazel's Project Hatari had some protection on it, but I can't find that post on this forum where he spec'd out his ride while trying to sell it, as I was hoping to see what brand of protection it was. Also, on Rick Russell's yellow CJ-6 he uses Sun Performance rocker guards, but their website shows nothing for the 6, and they have not responded to my email's.

Any aftermarket suppliers support the 6?

    Thanks for any help!

I had mine for my CJ5 custom made locally. They were only $175. CJ6's wouldn't
be much more... You might want to check locally...

Nothing listed/out of the box - but OffYourRockers.com said they would make some for me.

I don't know - you could probably get someone here with an LJ to measure. Not sure if anyone has an 8.

FWIW I did end up getting some through Off Your Rockers:

Plain angle iron will work, and you can buy and fit that yourself. It's a half-way measure compared to today's heavier and stronger aftermarket rocker guards. It'll keep you from rolling over the edges on the body though - that's what I used on my CJ-5.

I'm sure you could use thinner metal, I tend toward overkill

I wouldn't call that overkill bkd, but I'm sure it did help to lower your center of gravity;)

I like those and the steps are a great touch. That's one thing my wife complains about is not having something to step on to help get into my CJ5.

From an LJ and a CJ6 owner I can tell you that the LJ rubicon guards are shorter by several inches to make it look like a direct fit. I was going to use mine from my LJ on my CJ but it just didn't look right. I decided that I was going to build my own as my next project. Just need to get off work early enough to get the material yard.
