I'm not sure if the PCV hoses go to the right places on my '73 CJ5 with 258.

Coming off the valve cover, I have 2 hoses, one is connected to the PCV valve near the oil fill hole at the front of the valve cover and currently goes to a connector on the bottom of my air filter housing (inside of the filter--between the filter element and the carb intake). The other hose comes straight off the valve cover (hole closest to firewall) and connects to manifold vacuum.

    Is this right?

You should have 3 ports in your valve cover. the first is your non-vented oil fill cap. After that is a molded hose that goes to the front side of your air cleaner assembly. Third is a PCV valve. The PCV hose should go manifold vacuum with one hose and another back to your canister (if you still have a canister; I just have one hose going to my air cleaner).

    Kaiser,
What you have on your 73 is the same as my 74 as far as hoses and routing. That is correct according to the 74 FSM.
