I did a search and came up with nothing but I remember a thread with a link for an inline adapter to put the temp gauge sending unit in because I can't for the love of me remove the old sending unit for the temp gauge. Any help out there?

here's one more solution...that you will probably like:) Just got my catalog for advance adapters (www.advanceadapters.com) and they have an inline temp sender adapter...so you plug in the adapter between your cooling lines and it allows you to use your stock jeep sending unit. Very cool option for anyone that has had an engine conversion...thought I would share...the part numbers if you are searching for them are 716673, 716673A, and 716674...take care..Steve

I kept on searching and found this, I guess this is why I keep coming back to this site.

I had the same problem, I couldn't get the sending unit out. We ended up using an impact wrench on it set on a relatively low torque. Once we did that it worked itself out without a problem.
