Reading my ratio tag

    Was curious what all of the numbers on the tag meant.
    On my rear 44 the tag has these numbers:

    925559

    4:27

    47-11

    Is 4:27 the gearing? Not sure I've seen that gearing before.

    The front is the same except for the 5 digit number.

    Yup. You interpreted it right.
    47/11=4.27

    4.27 was the optional gearing for the f-heads IIRC. 3.73, 4.88 for the :v6: Jeeps. 5.38, 4.27 for :hurrican:
