    Could someone tell me what was in the right hand rear of a 1973 commando?
    I can tell there was something there , the side booms with out it the other side has the gas filler tube cover.....thanks

    In the rear right you will have the vapor canister for the fuel system.
    It looks like a large juice can. 4 or 5 hoses

    Mmm... pretty sure the '73 has the big plastic charcoal canister under the hood. A '72 would have had the juice can... as best as I can recall. I would guess the fluid check valve (for vapor recovery) would be in that spot in the right corner though.

    Sorry not under the hood back by the tail gate the sheet metal vibrates when i go down the road I can tell something was there maybe a jack holder
    or something like that
