Drawbar

I'm hoping this is the correct forum for this. If not, i apologize ahead of time. Does anyone out there know of a source for the stock drawbar for the early cj5?

Its been a while (about 5 years) but I remember seeing one in the Leon Rosser catalog and I think it was mfg by Kayline. I would also suspect that any purely Jeep salvage yard would have a good supply of used ones. Check with Collins Brothers they have alot of NOS parts and a large junk yard.

 

Put in a "wanted to buy" ad in the classifieds. Somebody close will probably have one. If you want to drop by Ada, OK, I got one in the garage you can have for free (its even been sandblasted and painted).:v6:

They frequently show up on eBay.

 

Keep in mind those are heavy mothers and shipping will be a killer. I'd exhaust every local possibility first.

I have one off a 3b, but it's too short to fit on a 5, the stabilizer arms do not reach the frame.
