V-6 Engine Numbers

    :) Between branches of right exhaust manifold, I have this stamped (PH 1). If I am reading correctly, P-1968 and H-V6-225 9.0 to 1 C.R. (2bbl carb). OK, so I have a 1968 225. Any ideas what the 1 is supposed to represent?:?

    :) I wasn't sure because there is only one number, not three also there is no letter for market identification, ie:M-military, D-domestic.
