    Clint, if you are taking off th etub, I found it easier and less destructive to take the whole steering box out from the top. Just undo the three bolts attaching it to the frame, disconnect the steering arm from the drag link, unbolt the dash support and just take the whole thing out from up top. It also makes it easier to remove the tub, since you don't have to lift the tub to clear the steering column. MHOO, YMMV....

    If you are taking the tub off, take the whole shebang out like the other guys said. If you are just taking the wheel off, (you may already tried but...) grab the top of the wheel-12:00-then pull with a slight jerk towards you. Then do the same on the bottom. Then backa nd forth several times between the two and it will probably go. I have taken numerous wheels off that way-allbeeit not always on old jeeps-and have yet to have one that really put as much of a fight as everyone says.
