As far as registration can't you just weld in the portion of the firewall that has the serial# and just put the plate and old windshield with inspection sticker on and be done with it? It's not like the DMV is gonna know the difference.

 

Great idea and project...lottsa envy here! But, I can't get the pictures to display? GUNNER :?

 

Makes me think about the first prototype. It still amazes me that they were able to have a rolling prototype delivered and ready for testing in a month or two. It was not up to this quality but it started the legend.

I would give it serial number 1.5

 

does that mean that it has to pass all safety and emission standards of the current year, 07? like padded dash, side impact bars, three point seat beats, carseat attachments, lites, turnsignals, yahda, yahda, yahda. not to mention obd-II. in nc, its a pain to get a title/tag if the title has not been issued in the last 10 years (trooper has to come out), homebuilt title for an auto can be issued but they are hen's teeth. i'd try to ho-do a title for the cj the drivetrain is coming from or one from the frame (frame would be my choice). anyway good luck.
