I am getting close to being done with my four wheel disc conversion, and now I am wondering Rubber or steel(for the brake hoses). I am tempted to go with the steel braided brake hoses.
If you have an oppinion I would like to hear it, thanks.

Get what fits and use it. :D

When I've put lift kits on Jeeps in the past I've had to go with braided because the stock rubber isn't long enough. That may make the decision for you?

They tell me steel expands less, gives a firmer pedal. Do I care?

Easy enough to join two hoses if you need length.

Why add another connection to the brake system rather than keeping it simple and just using one hose if possible?

If you go the stainless route, make sure the material (and the fittings) are DOT-approved or you may have a surprise when it won't pass a state inspection. BTDT.

Absolutely, Sparky, one hose if you can get it, although it's not the end of the road if you add one union to the system. If they come longer in stainless, go for one piece, sure.
