pto question

    The question is: if you have a flatfender length shaft to go between the pto shifter and rear gearbox and the cast iron adapter to lengthen it for a cj5, does the adapter go in between the shifter and the shaft or the shaft and the rear gearbox?

    Goes between the shaft and the rear gearbox. That's how my '56 is, never been apart 'til about a week ago.
