I'm curious what rear end ratios the jeepsters used? were they the same as the cj's?

    F134 - 4.27 or 5.38

    V6 - 3.73 or 4.88

is the same true for the jeepster?

    Yes to the first question.

The 3.31 was standard with the TH400 Auto, the 3.73 was optional with the TH400. That of course only came with the :v6:

Oh, I should cite my source. Jp this month. Jeepster Autopsy article.

Mmm. 3.31 applies to bullnoses too? The '72 manual lists 3.73 std, 4.27 opt for the I6 C104, 3.73 with the 304. Not sure if I believe it - since it says the I6 FSJs got the T-14A (which I think is wrong), and it says that the T-18A was optional for V8 CJs (which is clearly wrong in '72) and that you could get the T-18A with a 232 in a CJ or C104 (which I also think is wrong).

According to my 72 jeepster parts catalog (rare) v6's also had a 427:1 option
I actually know one guy who had them in his stock 68 Jeepster
