Please add clarification to this post so it doesn't appear to be a wanted to buy add.

Next time just send me a PM and let me know what's going on, don't insult me in the forum.

    Thanks.

I never have bought a PS pump mount just for this reason - I don't know how to tell if the ones I've found will work or not.
I'm just making do with a crappy setup from the PO.

The first picture is 1/2 the bracket you need.

Look for an 80s Buick/Olds/Pontiac (i.e. Regal, Grand Prix, etc.) car with V6. I went to a local junkyard and they literally had 5 or 6 there that would work. These brackets had another mount point on top though that most cut off (maybe for AC or Alt).

I'll attach an image I got from another member here. McCruff has some other good shots on his photosite.

If it's still not clear, I can shoot some pix of mine (it's on my jeep, but I don't have a pump in it yet).

    Let me know....

I have used this bracket on three different 225 jeep engines. they come from the 70's and maybe early 80's buick V-6 and V-8.
probably also occurs on olds pontiac etc., but mine all came frome buicks. They are a two piece bracket, one bolts to the head and then the 2nd piece bolts to it. There are two different styles that I know of, this is the one I preffer. The other is like the one you already have, but you need the rest of it to make it work. on your style there is actually a third piece that sandwiches between them that provides a mounting location for a smog pump. I have seen guys chop most of it away and use it, but a portion of the third bracket needs to be retained to make it all work, once you see it, you will see what I am talking about. The non smog bracket is less common (at least in California) but looks alot nicer and is less bulky. They are around, might not hurt to grab the crankshaft pulley from the same engine.

I use the same 2 piece style as above. I pulled mine from an early 80's Oldsmobile hatchback. You should be able to find one no problem at the local pick n pull.

Here is mine from my photo bucket page.
[IMG] There is usually a top part (arm) of the bracket that holds an air conditioning compressor, just cut it off.
