    Thanks Jim. The Jeep is on eBay and didn't have a closer shot of the plate. I'm not interested in buying it, just never saw a plate like that before.

    These show up on some jeeps, its a "trade mark" plate. I got one off of Maggie sitting here somewheres under the junk on my desk- AHH! Here it is-

    I believe these were put on jeeps intended for export, 'though I can't really cite a source for that :(.
