Gas tank mounts????

Anybody got pics of the factory mounts. I've just started my rebuild and can't remember how to put them back. I have the factory hardware and just cant seem to get the right fit:?

Not sure if this is the same, but here is a 74-77 diagram.

thats the way mine is, Brackets bolt to the top of the frame rails and the tank bolts to the top of the brackets.

 

Mmm, I think that's a '73-75 diagram. '72-75 should all have the same mounting brackets, though the vapor recovery was very different in '72. From '76 on, AFAIK there were no brackets, since the skid plate supported the tank. Prior to '76 the skid plate was optional, so the tank had to stay put without the skid plate.

The inset filler neck drawing is '76 or later though.

 

Thats actually the same diagram for the 70 and 71 rear tanks also.
