    Will a dash from a 80-86 CJ-7 fit directly (bolt on) to a 74' CJ-6??
    are they the same Height /Width?

    AFAIK they are the same height and width, and may bolt on, but everything else is different. In particular the steering column mounting and the windshield latches will be different, as well as the guage and switch locations, and maybe even the glove box size/location.
