    whats a fair price to pay for one of these? i may have a chance to pick one up from a v6 cj5. it wont have the 5.38 gears i want, but if it has 4.88's i may pick up the front axle too. just curious on the going rate for these?

    Price will vary by area Linc.
    Average is $250, I've seen some at $500 and some at $100
    Hope you have a line on the $100 set ;) :)

    FYI - the 4.88 setups are hard to find and worth more than the 5.38s. Personally, I like the 4.88s slightly better than the 5.38s.

    If its from a V6 won't it be 3.73 from the factory?
