    and a T-98-1z?

I found a tran that on top says t-98 but on the driver side it has T-98-1z.

So are the T-98-1z same as a T-98?

If not what are the differences?

    Thanks.

I like you. I'm pretty sure I do anyway.

I don't know the answer to your question though

and your picture is frightening, but the movie is good.

The T-98-z model is the jeep version. Note the position of the PTO opening on the trans.

It is on the left side. Note also the position of the two mounting tabs on the left side. They are close together.

The left side PTO opening is because the right side has the front drive shaft going past.

The 'normal' t-98 or T-18 (if I can use the word normal) has the PTO opening on the right side and the two mounting tabs that are close together on the right side as well.

The International version does not have tabs on the front; the trans is mounted to the bell housing via bolts that run through holes in the bell and into tapped holes in the trans case.

I will post a picture of the tranmission later tonight. The PTO cover is on the driver side but no tabs in the front. Probably cut off so the chevy bell housing will fit.

    Thanks everybody.

If there are no mounting tabs on it then it could be an International application.

I'm outa town for a week. Going to Washington and Philadelphia,
