I think what you're asking is which direction the rotor points to. Looking at the underside of the rotor, next to the screws, one screw has a round peg next to it and the other screw has a square peg next to it. Those two "pegs" correspond to holes in the distributor to properly point the rotor so it can only point one direction.
Hope that helps (and makes sense).

Tanks Flat47, excuse my poor english.
I just want to know the part number of the black cover of distributor and the rotor that is inside.
In France, it's not so easy to find these parts.

    Thanks Mike,
I find that the distributor is a 1110376 from Delco.
I find these details on the napaonline web site.

Hello - just for your information, the black cover is called (in the USA) the distributor cap. The finger is called the distributor rotor. You can find these at Napa Online or www.rockauto.com - these will be under the category Ignition on the rockauto site.

If you have the part number for a specific manufacturer, your auto parts store should be able to cross-reference that number to several other manufacturer's numbers.

Yes, that is a Delco distributor.

    Hope this helps!
