I'm installing my new plastic under seat tank in my CJ today. Anybody know if it should just go on the metal directly or be padded between the tank and the metal?

  2. I'd advise using something to give it just a small gap of air so moisture doesn't collect & cause your floor pan to rust. I have 3 small strips of rubber (about 1 inch wide) under mine, placed evenly apart.

x2!:iagree: I used old flat rubber bungee cords cut to proper length. Cheap and works well. Nickmil

I'd be interested in hearing more about this new, under seat, plastic tank.

Make, model, supplier, sending unit, quality, satisfaction, etc., etc..

    And pictures!

  6. Last time I was rooting around Krage Motorsports' website I saw them listed for around $120. Don't know who's manufacturing them, bet it's a bit East of here . . . . .
