Tranny Boot

    Anybody have a pic of a tranny boot and boot ring installed, I have just painted mine and ready to install but the boot ring looks too big.

    Here's a pic of mine. The tranny cover is home made due to my T18 from a Ford Pickup. Hopefully it helps you anyway.

    Thanks for the pics Todd, my problem is the boot ring looks to big for the cover...is that normal? I will post a pic of mine tomorrow.

    It should just cover the edges of the rubber, be just slightly bigger around than the rubber boot.

    Is the ring suppose to extend over the edges of the cover?

    Does the raised portion go up or down?
