Turn signals hot all the time.

    I am finishing up on my tail lights and I can't figure why the turn signal wires , both of them are hot even when not activated. I go to hook up the wire and they come on instantly before I even move the lever.:rofl:

    If it isn't one thing its another. Maybe the flasher is hooked up wrong.

    Your flasher relay always has voltage. When a current is drawn through the circuit, it flashes. Low current (blown bulb) flashes fast, higher current (no blown bulbs) flashes slow. Is it possible you're accidentally wiring the relay into your taillights?
