Bad Rust! Advice Please!

    I just can't say enough about sandblasting. Stuff comes out better than new as there is no manufacturing oils to harm paint. Some day you might think about doing your body. But do any welding first so all is clean for painting. Pic shows suff before paint. Touch only with clean gloves to keep body oils off the fresh steal.

    Thanks to everyone for all the advice. Today I bought some rust stuff called Naval Jelly (basically acid that's the consistancy of snot). It didn't do a whole lot but it did help. Scrubbed everything real good with a wire brush and washed and dried.

    I bought some figerglass pad and resin and tomarrow I will try and apply this stuff. If this works it will be a cheap alternative for the mean time until I can buy a welder and do it the right way. I'll keep you guys posted on my progress.
