rear battery relocated

    I removed the under seat tool box. Only rusty area on my 3a tub. While the lid was setting on the rear bed, I noticed how well the stiffing ribs matched(que in light bulb). Idea! Drop my battery under floor not on it.
    Battery sets above long tube side of off-set D44. About 2 1/2" of lift are needed to clear at full compression of rear suspenssion. Future plan is for a Painless Master Remote battery disconnect kit. Soleniod will mount on shelf next to battery.

    Very nice. I would consider that if I was not planning on a rear gas tank sometime in the future.

    Nice. Since you have limited vertical clearance you might consider adding some terminal covers to the battery. I picked up some from my local boat dealer for 5 bucks.

    I have a rear tank. There is room if you mount a Postal Jeep tank.

    Do you have pictures of that? Mine is still a plastic gas can sitting on the front bumper.

    Yes I'd like to see pics of the tank. How many gallons does the postal tank hold?
