I am trying to fit an aftermarket heater and seem to hit problems at every turn.
A slight oil filter bracket problem...

And much more importantly the plug in the head seems to really like being there after all these years-behind sparkplug in pic-I don't want to force it and dork up my head.
Anyone see any problem with running a "T" fitting where the temp sensor is now with the sensor on one side and heater outlet on the other?

Its accuracy may be off by a few degrees.

I think that you could use a 45 elbow on the water pump at least that's what mine had on it. Doesn't one line have to come from the water pump and the return go back to the block somewhere?? My return is in the top of the head.

I trimmed the oil filter bracket so I am ok on the water pump. The plug in the top of the block was not going to budge so I will return back through the temp sensor.
