    Tuning?

You have the same carb base gasket. Problem is you can't even hit 55 for it to start cutting out so you'd never know it wasn't right.

Lessee, todays the 14th so that makes it an even day so only even-fire:v6: will run today or is it the other way around???? The only way to even the odds is with a :hurrican: . A good :hurrican: will level everythingR) R)

Actually it ran great. I put in a new pickup coil in the HEI the other nite. Timed it this AM, ran smoother now than it has since I've owned it. R)

    Billy,

Would you please send me the check? Gasket matching is easy, just do the following in order:

    1. Remove F-head from vehicle.
    2. Insert V6.
    3. Gasket match intake.

    R)

A running :hurrican: renders the entire jeep a wrecking ball, whereas a distributorless :v6: just sits in a garage occupying space...

    ...If it runs, run it!

Ok guys, we've really wandered far afield here. Let's steer it back around to the topic at hand please.

    Ok Sparky.

I have an F Head and I wouldn't do anything peformance related to it. If you want ease of use, rebuild it and go. If you want a project, do a motor swap.

From my experience, barring major engine alterations, a 4cyl in a wheel drive vehicle is not worth putting performance dollars into. Now 4 cyl swaps are another story...

Ive though about thinking with mine but it runs so why bother , plus it has a good lug. There was a nice write up on the 3b page about hopping it up.
