I won an auction today for a new dash pad for pre 1975 Jeep CJ and was wondering how this attaches to the windshield. If anyone still has one of these could you reply so I will have whats needed before it gets here. Thanks.

I had one on my 74, but removed it for asthetic reasons. On the back side of the pad you will find 5 tabs. These tabs will rest on the upper surface of the lower windshield frame, between the defrost vents. You should see 5 holes in the W/S frame between the defrost vents. Simply run 5 screws through the tabs & into the holes in the frame & VIOLA, it's installed. Now go have a

Thanks Tim, Doesn't even look like a  job. This is a new pad thats been in the box from the early 70's so hopefully it will be worth the trouble. Tim, your 74 is CLEAN!......I like it. Thanks again.
