I have finally had time to check my front end, albiet at 4am, so the wife won't complain that I spend more time with my 67 then her!

Anyways the races on the king pins are bad and I want to replace them... how do you get them out? Also how do you install them?

    Thanks,

    -Mark

If you have a 67 its probly a dana 27 like my 68...
it was easy I got new races from 4wd.com and removed the knuckles and
simply took a small brass drift pin and tapped in a star pattern on the back of the races and they just popped out....quite easy.....then to put the new ones in i used the old ones as instalation tools....just be sure to keep them edge to edge and tap flat till the new one seats, use a sand head plastic hammer....pretty simple....took me like 5 minutes for all 4....so good luck....

p.s. this is my first post and it looked simple enough that i could answer it..so thats my input.....i got that info from Cj rebuilders manual by moses ludel...and i like my :v6:
