Rear brake line....Where can I get one?

Does anyone know where I can buy a preformed brake line from the proportioning block to the rear crossmember (where it splits to go to each individual rear wheel)? I can find complete kits, but they are $169 and I've spent way too much money this month already! I inspected the rest of the lines and they appear to be in good shape. Thanks!

Why not just buy a leingth of pre-flared line at the parts store, and use the old line as a "template" to bend the new one.
The mild steel lines you can get at Napa or other parts stores can be bent carefully by hand, or with a hand bender that you can get for less than $10.
It's been my experience that Pre-bent lines tend to get pretty out of shape in transit anyway.
If you can't get a line long enough, buy two pieces and join them with a union.
Cheap easy, and perfectly safe.
NO compression fittings!

 

x2 with cjalopy....fabricating your own line is very inexpensive. i would get a flaring kit, and line bender and new line.

 

Building your own is the way to go, just remember to double flair your cut.
