Good eye VHunter. The frame is 72 CJ 5. I had it but really wanted a flatty. I fabbed new body mounts so the body would fit the frame. The winch mount is over where the CJ 5 grill mounts. It reminds me of all the altered wheelbase Jeeps, including my Dad's 41 MB, that used to race at the Sand-O-Rama in Michigan back in the late sixties/early seventies. I have a 74 Toyota Land Cruzer that has 2 5/8" front springs. They are wider than YJ springs but not as long, only a couple inches longer than my CJ. Has anyone ever tried a set of these on a CJ? Compared to my 1 3/4" springs they would be like getting out of a canoe and jumping in a barge! Let me know what you think.

Using those Toyota springs mite not be a bad Idea. Wragler springs are long and do not fit so well in a short wheel base jeep. But, I do know that these late model wide springs are so much better than the old narrow ones on the early to mid CJ's. Mite be a good idea!
