brake/fuel/clutch

    I am replacing my brakes lines and fuel lines and clutch,What size fuel line and brakes lines for a 73 cj5 304 v8,Also what is better to use for a clutch,the kind that has the 3 fingers or diaphragm pressure plate

    The 3 finger clutch covers are a little smoother to operate. I have no idea about the fuel lines. My guess is 3/16" as all the after market parts I've seen are setup for that size. Check your fittings and see what they require.

    not sure on teh '73, but but on the '78 Brake lines are 3/16" and 1/4" and the fuel I believe was 1/4". I was just messing around and working with mine MC to Prop Valve lines this weekend. had to push the fuel lines out of the wa and they seemed to be the same size as the 1/4" I was replacing.
