stainless steel

    has anybody heard of stainless steel bodies for jeeps fabricated in the philippines? i heard that there is quite a bit of left over jeeps from ww2over there and they have learned to fabricate stainless steel bodies as replacements. i guess the question is how do you bring it here?:rofl:

    The same company that has above item on ebay, has had bodies before.
    emal seller and get web site. I have looked at it before, but do not remember what it is..

    Most of the aftermarket sheet metal for early Jeeps comes from the Phillipines, a company named MD Juan, I believe. Not the greatest fit from what I hear, and I think the metal is thinner too.

    DONT BUY ANYTHING aftermarket that is MD JUAN it is nothing but aggravation improper size and just plain *&*&... There is an outfit that is selling STAINLESS STEEL bodys from across the ocean ..I think the web is www.geep.biz... I checked on a M38 tub and WOW aint cheap... There is a guy in NEVADA that bought one he wont return my calls about it ..
